Inspired by the success of top 10 PSA player and French #2 Mathieu Castagnet, Black Knight has improved on its previous Ion Cannon Power Surge racquet with a new cosmetic and updated stringing. Pre-strung with Ashaway’s cutting edge SuperNick ZX (Mathieu’s string of choice), the Cannon plays slightly more powerful than its predecessor. The frame features a slightly concave shape which opens up the sweet spot of the string-bed for added cannon-like power.
The racquet is balanced slightly head heavy for added punch as you come through the ball. Despite the new balance, this racquet is extremely maneuverable and easy to handle for attacking players that want to volley and keep pressure on their opponent.
